While the other footer pages are all about legal formalities, this site contains my personal promise to you.
This is, first and foremost, a passion project of mine.
I truly want to offer a platform for people to share their works, without having to worry about said works being used for any ill purpose.
Ultimately my resources are limited - as is my time. Throughout the creation of this, I will be learning as much about creating and maintaining a site like this as I wish others to learn about art. That'll also require me to choose roundabout ways to ensure safety and privacy of all this site aims to provide.
To this end, I promise to be fully transparent on all tools and methods I use - I will also be fully open to any questions on anything you are curious about.
Fundamentally, this project is built through React via Next.js, and hosted by Vercel. User data and all uploads are stored in a database provided by Supabase. Throughout development, I am utilizing Claude Code to give me pointers and to take care of monotone, repetitive tasks.
I want this project to turn open source eventually, meaning anyone can publicly review, check and maybe even add to the structure of this site.
I hope this site can be one for people to gather and exchange - no strings attached, no matter what.
However, my biggest wish is that any person that may be reluctant to put their pen to paper or their hands to paint can find a way to overcome that barrier - be it here, or elsewhere.
Art, any form of it, is what makes us truly human. It's what defines us and how we best express ourselves. What you say, how you behave and all you do, it is all art, because you are.
Your art doesn't matter because people see it, or because many like and share it - or even pay you for it.
Art matters because it is made by you.
So please, never stop creating art. That is all I can ask for.
